If the signal from the 1st access point is already weak, I don't see any reason how configuring a new access point should help. Configuring your new access point will give you strong signal between your PC and your own access point, but it will not give you faster preference to the Web, because the signal is still weak. Connecting through two wirelesses, will slow your preference, you may not even have any connectivity at all. Key has to be encrypted, decrypted; Packages will be lost and so. Personally bridging between two access point bad idea. I have not tried it, it is just my theory. Only way you can find out pal is by trying it. So you can give it a try, no harm on that, as a test project.
