And Deurali jee, I think there is no purest form of Hinduism. All the different schools I described above have quite different and sometimes contrasting views. One is free to choose among any of them, as all of these path lead to the same supreme truth. "There is but one truth, however this truth may be reached by different paths, and sages have given these paths different names"--- This is one of the 'core' views in 'hinduism'/ 'sanatana dharma'. So 'meditation' can be a way for achieving the 'ultimate truth' for some, and 'yoga' may do the same for others. However, for many ' difficult philosophy / meditation / abstract ideas' may be difficult to grasp n practice, so for them ' idol worship / rituals' may be the way to achieve the 'ultimate truth'. Even Bhagvad Geeta, the revered book of the hindus, proposes ' Gyan yoga/ Bhakti Yoga/ Karma Yoga ' as different ways for achieving the 'ultimate supreme truth'. When seen these ways are totally different from each other. 'Karma Yoga' means that just by doing your work / responsibilities n duties in this world properly also one can achieve the 'ultimate supreme truth'. So, everyone need not follow the same path n meditate. So in conclusion, if one has really understood the true essence of 'sanatana dharma' , he / she will not label what others practise as 'dogmas'.
