Sunkoshi, you got to do that right in the beginning so that your husband and you will get work permits and green card at the same time. There is a provision ( your lawyer will tell you if you have one) for your spouse to apply at the same time. Now a days, RNs get green cards in less than 6 months. My suggestion is: get a lawyer.
