Govt tells British minister not to meet King, other details Kathmandu, 27 Sept: Visiting British Minister of State of the Foreign Office Dr Kim Howells said Wednesday he didn’t meet the King in reply to a question. "Government advised me not to meet the King," he told reporters. He said he didn’t meet Maoists also but for another reason. " I wouldn’t expect a visiting leader to meet the IRA," he explained. British Government will resume military supplies suspended after 1 February 2005 only after the restoration of a "democratic government", he said in reply to another question.
