I am willing to give Maoists credit for a lot of things, but in my opinion, any one with a wee bit of cranial capacity has got to see that armed Maoists are the preeminent threat to Nepal's new demoracy. On the contrary, disarmed Maosits, or those whose arms have been 'managed', are a critical compoment to nurturing the new democracy and taking Nepal forward. Disarmament - whatever form its happens in - will actually strengthen democracy and not weaken it.
