As the director of infosys, india rightly pointed out, china has gone through an unprecedented way in the history of human civilization to overcome what seemed like an insurmountable poverty. although politically a communist nation, china is opening up with its trade policies and marketing strategies which will help them as hell to expand their eceonomy to the largest and invincible in the next few years. something which our own prospective leaders with the likes of prachanda and baburam have to think about. india on the other hand has gone through a massive transformation as well in industrial and technological sectors. infosys stands as one of the best IT institutions. tata steel is still at its peak, producing one of the finest qualities of steels in the world. they have one of the oldest and stable democracies as well. but it looks to me that the poverty, slums and intriguing over-population are still going to act as hindrances in the path of economic prosperity and more so in the race against china. perhaps seamless economic growth is what they should be looking for by creating opportunities across the countryside which at the moment looks no better than humla, bajhang or bajura of nepal. nepal has resources mainly in the form of hydropower and timber. if we could establish peace and democracy, i am sure with capitalist approach and bilateral relations with the two giant nations we can sure as hell do a lot better to raise the already plummeted ecoonomy. we have great examples right around us to mimic. it's just a matter of time, but YES it's definitely possible.
