Male Chauvinism or Feminism?

Vito Carleone, First of all, thank you very much for posting the most sensible posting I have seen in a while. :)... To address what you are saying, yes, I think women fighting for their corporate rights do indeed bring onto themselves the 'double work'. Especially amongst us, who tend to still live 'the asian way of life' despite living abroad. For instance, women come home from work , and do cook for their family. (men do too- but generally, its the women ). It is indeed double work when you look at this that way. Why then fight for feminism you say? I think its a mere reaction to the 1000 year of supression we women faced before. Besides, the social structure is changing. Look at how most people live- one person's income cannot send the children through college. I think its the necessity as well and not simply because we are blindly following our corporate goals. If given a choice, I am sure a lot of women would want to work, at maybe for a few years, take a break from the career to look after the children, and perhaps return back to work. However, the corporate world makes it impossible for a mother who has taken a 5 yr break to return back to their same position, and the grounds are? NO RECENT EXPERIENCE. I think its issues like these that we - the women- fight for in the corporate world.... About MEN- (except for a few jerks) have been extremely supportive of their wives working. We find many guys wanting their wives to work, and to be of equal support to the family. After all, a couple should be the pillar of support to each other. And I applaud men for having taken the change into "equal right" with such positivity. MERELY AN OPINION !
