I am seeing lots of noise being made with Komal Oli's song titled "Poila Jana Pam".. The word "Poila (to go to poi (husbands) home" is not that derogatory unless it means "to run off with a man other than her husband.." Komal Oli certainly did not mean the later... Possible scenarios of Poila Gayeko in modern terms: 1. Lots of unmarried couples living together, away fromtheir home (nepal).. Is that a version of "Poila Gayeko" in girls part? 2. A girl comes from Nepal to visit US or study and finds a guy who is about to have Green Card but decides to get married in US instead of Nepal, without the presence (but consent) of her parents.. - Is this "Poila Gayeko" in girls part ? 3. An eligible bachelor comes to Nepal and finds a girl and works on Marriage Certificate at the Nagarpalika (actually getting married only officially not socially)... - Is that "Poila Gayeko" in girls part?
