agreed: you are absolutely right in saying that Maoists will not emerge as traditional hardliner communists simply because they can not: They are clever enough to grasp the reality that all hard-linear communism can fail eventually even in 2-4 years like what happened with Khemerrouz in Combodia, because they know that neither Nepali people nor international communities support oppressive traditional communism. Only thing Nepali people want now is "justice" in terms of opportunities and they are all aware (except some people who consider ordinary Nepali people as animals and want to treat them as animals forever) that it can be achived through rooting out monarchy and restructuring the state. In fact, Nepal's problem is not rooted from poverty alone (or rich and poor "classes"), it is also the problem of social unjustice rooted from unequalities between castes, between ethnicities, and between regions. So, they gave the name "Prachanda Path" to their movement to distinguish it from Maoism, Laninism, or Marxism.
