Agreement to unify Maoist and Nepal army Kathmandu , 15 August: The Maoist and the government signed a five-point agreement to assure their commitment towards peace process and unification of Nepal and Maoist army, writes Dibya Darshan weekly. The idea of signing the following agreement was suggested by the Indian Ambassador Shivashankar Mukherjee. The people of Nepal therefore are disappointed with their political leaders for swaying along with the influence of Indian political leaders. Similarly, PM Girija Prasad Koirala and Maoist Supremo Prachanda have together sent letter to the UN for monitoring the weapons of both Maoist and Nepal army during the election period of constituent assembly.
