Right now he seems to be the one balancing both the royals and the maoists. If he solves the Maoists issue, he will be considered as a leader who at least solved the problem he himself created. But if he dies soon before solving this issue, Nepal is going to fall apart and get into civil war which would be worse that what we have seen so far.
