Well! as a true nepali to the heart and a humanist, I am neither looking for 'the best politician' nor 'the most successful one'. All we need is a 'Consummate Statesman' who can take a good peek into the future and devise a strategy for the country to make the most of it when the time arrives. Just like Lincoln a great statesman himself said "I never had a policy; I have just tried to do my very best each and every day". Politicians of today are more concerned with how their stance in a given issue will affect the next election results. As someone rightly said A self-deprecating comment by one politician goes like "Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river. "
