Eventough the accent even within the country differs but what do you think is sweeter accent? If you can hang on to your "British" accent, it works wonders in the US! People automatically think you are smarter, more polite, and friendlier. In Britain, an American accent makes you seem "brasher" and more likely to be good at customer service and business in general! Neither is really based in fact, but there you go!
