I bet Al Gore still has not forgiven him for not doing his job his VP candidate. Poor Al got robbed, if you ask me. Do you guys remember that televised Vice Presidential debate? It was ok to be civil in the debate with Dick Cheney, but Lieberman pretty much sold himself out. Instead of challenging Cheney on all the policy fiascos, Lieberman was happy being just a friendly puppy dog on his lap. Voters did not forget that. Now he paid with the loss of nomination. I don't think he lost because he supported Bush's decision to go to war. He lost because he, as a senior Democrat, did not challenge the administration enough.
