o_o I just want to make it clear that I am not a Hezbollah supporter. The thing that bothers me is the killing of the innocent civilians by the israeli terrorists. 37 children killed in one attacK???? I couldnt watch those videos of the inncoent faces of those children covered by the concrete. My blood seemed to shoot out of my eyes when the israeli Ambassador to UN and the israeli justice minister told that those who didnt leave that building after warning from the Israeli are terrorists. WTF? they are the poorest of the poor. They simply didnt have money to leave. Most of those who could afford to leave southern lebanon had left/ are leaving. But the poor ones are left behind. And when Red Cross tries to go there to help them, Israel bombs and kills the volunteers working for Red Cross. What do the poor people do? WHAT??? about disarming Hezbollah... i strongly believe that Hezbollah militias should ultimately integarate themselves with the Lebanese Army , but after few things are kept in place: 1) Change in the political framework of Lebanon: If you look at the poiltical system in Lebanon, they have the provison of having 50 percent Christians in the governemnt no matter which party wins. Rest are shared by others. That has to change. Irresspective of the religious belief, the party that gets the majority should be allowed to decide who they want to put in government. This is one reason Hezbollah should not disarm immediately coz after they disarm, if Israel invades Lebanon, then it is the Shiites muslims that will be the victims of Israeli terrorism. 2) israel is one the most powerful countries in the world militarily. Even if whole Arab nations join hands, they wont be able to match israel militarily. Israel has the most sophisticated weapons, thanks to USA. So until and unless the international Community provides some sort of concrete assurance that Lebanon will be saved from Israeli invasion, disarming Hezbollah will not serve Labanese interest. 3) Christians in Lebanon and those in government are time and again accused of not wanting to strengthen the Lebanese army. There should be some mecahnism that ensures that no matter which government of whatever belief comes to power, the Lebanese army should be always made strong so that they can at least put some resistance to israleis if they attack Lebanon. the bottom line is poor innocent people should not suffer any more.and the monstrous terrorist like the Isralei ambassdor to UN should not be allowed to party at the deaths of the innocnet children, like in qana.
