this is NOT a war between Hezbollah and Israel. This is a holocaust carried out by a terrorist state, Israel, on the innocent people of Lebanon with the backing of the lone superpower USA. Israel just needed a pretext to destroy Lebanon and they got that after the kidnapping of the two soldiers by hezbollah. Hezbollah, for their part ,never thought that this would lead to the destruction that we are seeing now because all they wanted was the realease of 3 Lebanese prisoners held in Israeli prison in exchange of the release of those captured Israeli soldiers. Hezbullah had kidnapped Isralei soldiers before also and they were successful in releasing some of their prisoners held by Israel. This time also they expected the same. But Israel needed a pretext to force their kind of governance in Lebanon (a government which has no military power and which bows down to Israel) and to disarm Hezbullah so that israel will not have to face any resistance when they want to invade Lebanon again as they did for 18 years between 1982 to 2000.
