Probably Ronald Regan had no idea that "Born in the USA" was protest song singing tales sorrounding the difficulties faced by average men in the Vietnam War and the difficulty living a normal life since their return from Vietnam War . It is rather strange that John Kerry used another song "No Surrender" from the same album as a theme song for his 2004 pesidential election campaign.
