For those nepalese who have already taken up US citizenships, the dual citizenship in Nepal will not work. Sorry. The reason is, even if Nepal allows dual citizenship, USA doesn't allow it. Nepalese US citizens have already surrenderd their nepali citizenships, because of this US law. So only option for such NRNs from USA is, they may return to Nepal later and take up nepalese citizenship after paying lump sum money, of course by US law they will have to surrender US citizenship then, i mean to be legally clean from USA perspective. Therefore, while setting dual citizenship in Nepal the laws of other countries should be considered as well.
