I saw the following thread in WNSO forum site. It is worth reading, I guess: Hi friends, I would like to know your opinion on Education System of Nepal. Do you think we should root out SLC system and give opportunities for all Nepalese students to get higher secondary status and more to say the opportunities to study in the universities of their choice? What could be the meaning of putting such a Rusted-Iron-Gate in the middle of high school education? Is it just to deprive young Nepalese to go through higher education? Just to ruin the life of more than 100 thousand students in a single year? What have we achieved by going through this non-sense SLC system? If SLC system is released, I am sure that one can go through high school, work hard to get admission in the university, otherwise can choose a vocational school of his/her choice, and many more. More to say, we should learn from developed world. Please, feel free to post your opinion so that we can accumulate your idea, review and put forward to the Ministry of Education on behalf of WNSO.
