I too am dismayed by the continuing barrage of attacks by Irael. I am appaled by the response from Prime Minister Blair who called this act of aggresion, "a measured response". Well, Mr. Blair, how about giving a "measured response" to North Korea who has clearly declared to the whole world that it has nukes? When one Iraeli soldier is kidnapped, the whole world goes absolutely crazy. Hasn't Irael just kidnapped an entire sovereign nation? Its always surprising to me that leaders that exhibit such high stakes bombardment are not the ones to bear the blunt, instead its the innocent civilians that pay the high price. Bush,Blair and Rice have openly and shamelessly advocated support for Israel's merciless and irresponsible bombing of civilians most of whom are children and women. Murder and mayhem has been created with the excuse of hunting for Hezbollah who like the Hamas are nothing but just a group of brave people who are resisting the bullying of israel. They appear to lack human conscience.They are obviously criminally insane to encourage israel to continue with the cruel bombardment of populated cities when in reality they should try to stop this one sided violence against a respectable ancient nation.They have obviously made it clear that they want lebanon to be destroyed and its population to be killed. We saw the actions of americans in Iraq. We all understand and see what they have done to the once proud and ancient historic country. Where is the United Nations? Why is this silence from a body that was precisely built for stopping such kind of barbaric assault on a sovereign nation. Has it not known to them that Irael has violated uncountable amount of UN resolution, much of which has been aggresively vetoed by the west under the zionist rulers? This is one of the most blatant and cruel assault which will have unimaginable consequences on generations to come. This act of aggression is not only illegal, but immoral and irresponsible. Stop this bombardment for God's sake. My heart goes out to the innocent people of Lebanon and Palestine and I pray for them.
