I just happend to check this thread today since I've been seeing it on top for a while and what a fiasco. I don't get to read all the threads but if I see a thread on top for a while then I make it a point to read it. After reading John Galt's message directed at the admin, I checked to see if the notify admin was working and I apologize to tell you that I found out that it was not working. In the numerous upgrades and changes we've had in sajha, that piece of code must have gotten defunct somehow. I would have checked in if I had received the notification, and I will make it a point to get it working by the end of the day. With regards to NAS posting his rap piece in this thread here, I think it was not the right thing to do. Granted people have a right to post in sajha forum, but they need to realize that the rest of the visitors have a right to not have to listen to somone's foul mouth. Depending on NAS's bringing up and surroundings maybe he feels that all the foul and derogatory words are cool. Maybe for him or his acquaintances it is all fine and good. Maybe even within a circle of like minded friends it could be cool. BUT, it is wrong of him to assume that it is fine for public/sajha use. Unless strongly warned for it's contents such lyrics and/or postings are not allowed in sajha. This discussion is comparable to a respectable writers convention where NAS comes in and sings his tripple X rated rap. Nas you were out of place here. If it was a real world situation, people would have thrown you out for being inconsiderate and foul mouthed in a public place. The discussions that ensued were bad but it was all due to Nas's failure to be courteous and respectful of others. Nas I have asked you many times to be respectful of others at all times. I hate to ban people because I would like everyone of us here to have a good time showing respect for each others and having discussions in a positive and respectful manner. Let's all please work on that. Regards.
