What is my point? My point is Hindus had discovered some wonderful things to proud of. I mentioned about the culture of renounciation. Here are major unanswered qeustions I am leaving for the time being. What were they doing during renounciation? What made kings to renounce their royal lavish? What has renounciation to offer over possission? What was the beauty of renounciation? What kept kings and riches renounced dispite hard life? What was the discovery of Buddha? I know this thread will not be completed until I answer these questions. I will love to do that but it is quite time consuming. I am going for summer vacation next week. Let's see how much time I get when I come back. You can not seperate Hinduism and Buddhism in real sense. It's the same Yogic tradition, Buddha is like a shining moon in the sky if other Rishis are stars (Frame of reference earth, time full moom day :)). Buddha gave completeness to the discovery. Today Indian Subcontinent is considered as a spiritual land, a land of Yogis, a land of Saints, a land of Buddhas and Arahats. Anybody in the world, who has spiritual quest and has open mind, will first think of this land. -This makes me a proud Hindu. I have personally practiced the discoveries of Hindus (you can not seperate Buddha). I got astonished from their discovery and I am very proud of this. This makes me a proud Hindu. Yogic tradition has lot to offer to human civilization. Time is coming to recognize their discovery. If you practice their discovery you will admit that they were great scientist, Unbelieveable scientist. I proud that I born in that land were these great people were born. This make me a proud Hindu. This Yogic tradition has nothing to do with caste system, God, Gods, rites and rituals, dogmas, worshiping, beliefs etc that what we call today Hinduism/Buddhism. It's a pure science, perfect science, that can be experimented and verified. Vishowntar
