Mandale! Mandale!!Mandale!! Just like sex is overrated in USA this word mandale has been used too many times and too many places in Nepal. Recently with popular demand it has been successful in achieving a prominent place in Nepali Sabad kosh (Dictionary)! :). I am sure most of people consume this word cheaper than 5 cents candy. Do not really know what it means. So, what is Mandale? Who is mandale? History: Before 1990 democracy, these madal groups, who were full favor of monarchy was actively involved in promoting King Birendra and Panchayat. Immediately After 1990 democracy, the term madale was refereed to any body who acted against the sprit of people who were involved in terrorizing people. Later this word became more meaningful it became the word use to describe corrupt leaders of Panchayat So the definition was revolving around: anyone who acts against the spirit of people, who are corrupt, who terrorize people. Modern definition of mandale according to me which I hope most of will agree .those who doesn’t agree I am sure will jump right at me in this thread: Modern Definition of Mandale: Anyone who supports autocratic activities, invoved in destroying national property etc, acts against the spirit of people, cheats people and sells the country to foreigners, terrorizes people, is corrupt, kills innocent people etc.. So who are real mandale: See after 2006, before you say anybody mandale .think very carefully, the chances of you being directly or indirectly mandale is very high...hmmm...almost 100%! Flat!!! Like wagle, kadka etc etc...All monkeys are same: - corrupt-acted against the spirit of sahids of 1990- actively involved in selling country 2] UML and other parties in HOR -Actively involved in destroying national property, inventors of chaka jam and Nepal bandh, - involved in selling country 3] Parchanda n Maoist -Actively involved in killing poor Nepali janta, - terrorizing villages – looting-raping etc 4] Kamal Thapa n Gang: -Actively involved in suppressing people desire for democracy- corrupt 5] Nepali janta: Yes!
