Mahat exaggerated the palace budget Kathmandu, 18 July: Finance Minister Dr. Ramsaran Mahat has stated some exaggerated points regarding the budget of the Royal Palace while announcing the annual budget of 2063/64 B.S. last Wednesday, writes Janasatta weekly. Mahat added three hundred and forty-nine million rupees of travel budget to the actual four hundred million rupees of the Royal Palace budget to make the budget of total seven hundred and forty million rupees to create false impression to the general people about the King’s annual expenditure.
