I tend to agree with ImI when he says that economic prosperity is what it matters. sure it does matter. but i am just not sure to what extent. economic growth is not a simple phenomenon. it takes years to increase the GDP by 0.1% in nepal's case. i have listened to people, quite ultra positive ones, claiming that if a stable democracy can be restored, nepal's GDP can be increased to a double figure in few years. what is a stable democracy?---just society? trade (export, import) policies, bilateral relationships with other countries, industrialization all count towards a properous economy. nepal can ONLY dream of achieving that within few years. what CAN be realised in practice, is a just society. a society which at least ensures balanced opportunity for all. HOW DO WE DO THAT? Constituent assembly. that's where we are heading towards. it's gonna be pretty soon, hopefully. so let's have proclamations and clauses for an equitable society. let's be more stringent in law and order. Economic prosperity is far off cry as of now, but will follow eventually. Loote
