Seriously, what a disaster it was. I had never imagined the sound system would go haywire in such an extent that they couldn’t even fix one mike. Even a local program organized in Kalankisthan would have better control over the sound system. I wonder what the organizers were doing all day long, ignoring the fact that sound system is the heart of the show and four performers with MAHA need four “working†mikes.
Despite a disaster, couple of things are worth mentioning.
1. MaHa’s experience that came handy during the fiasco. Ordinary performers would have fainted right on the spot due to the nervousness when they realized their mike was not working. Maha somehow pulled it off with an improvisation. At one point Haribansha’s mike was not working at all. Narendra Kansakar and Haribansha improvised the part and pulled it off. They didn’t stop the show. They were amazing.
2. Hat’s off to the audience for keeping their cool during the fiasco. They were perfectly calm given the situation. Ha...
Shame on organizers. They had no idea what was going on.
