I came to the US at age of 22 with GC (thru DV) and +2 education. So I had a similar case to yours, right? Joining college to obtain a bachelors degree will be the best decision you'll ever make. I'll finish my B.S. in Electrical Engineering by 12/2006. As a permanent resident, you can receive low interest loans and financial aid + scholarships as long as you maintain satisfactory grades. Here are some jobs which may allow you to both work and study: - newspaper delivery $10-$15/ hr - night shift clerk at Hotels $10-$15/hr - college labs/library $ 6- $10/hr After two years of college, you can apply for internship in the area of your study and get paid as much as $25/hr. Email me if you want to learn more about benefits of having GC and studying.
