David Trezeguet was the one who shattered Italian dreams and broke the hearts of many Italian fans including mine by hitting the golden goal 6 years ago in the 2000 Euro final. It was a good victory for the Italians, who deserved to win the world cup after beating Germany in undoubtedly one of the best matches I have seen.
