Yes, I will have to agree with Orange Boy. In a game where tensions are high, it is easy to react on your emotions. And that is what happened with Zidane. The Italian player did everything to provoke him. He tweaked his nipples while holding him with both hands. Then passed on some comments, which I won't doubt could have been racial, knowing the Italians and Spaniards. Zidane still should have controlled himself, but what seems clear is that this refree seems to have no mind of his own. He refreed the match between England and Portugal and apparently his decision to red card rooney was ignited by Potrugese players. And same happened here. He didn't see the head-butt, neither did his assistants. But then the Italian players seems to have influenced his decision, once again.
