I dispute this: cause hindus comes from Aryans .these aryans used to worship stone idols.much before greek civilization.so to say idol worshipping came from Alexander wouldn't be correct .however.. They have much similar concepts as idol worshipping.The idol worshipping came to Hindu land much almost 1000-2000 years before. Hindu religion is the most scientific..logical compilation of thoughts and rituals as far as other civilization and religion is concerned..It guides a person step by step daily rituals for personal well begin and happiness.It focuses of Karama and Dharma..how can it be non-logical??religion is nothing but a path for spritual satifaction and guide to lead a contentful life. rituals were born from spritual thoughts.. when one cannot fully dive into the pool of spirtuallity a easier approach set up rules and set of boundaries .. which becomes method and in long run becomes rituals.
