There was an interesting article by some nepalese prof of harvard on how to use grid network - transportation to strenthen Nepal's economy.You should read it .it is really interesting.It might be in Nepal news guest article. the reason we see america is so developed is because it has roads...access to each and every part . Nepal is still stuggling in issues like caste,religion and politics.There are no visionist leaders working towards changing the economic shape up the country. either its Royal regime or SPA Regime or Maoist . they will try to dominate other forces first.All their efforts and invoved in that so they do not have time to think about these issues. Even if maoist comes , which people are thinking is going to be great.i did not see any economic vision in them.They are still stuck in the land ..just land..we need to distibute land.. etc.. Ok personally i do not own that much land nor my family owns it .I have nothing to get scared of maoists land reforms But think about it.. why in west a farmer has so much land but if we divide that into 100 parts how much would they produce.Mass agriculure and farming is required not small scale which is not even sufficient to feed one family. Selling Electricity..India is not the only country we can sell electricity.we need to realise that this is one world.These renewal energy should have grid throughout the world.So , electricity of Nepal can be supplied to USA.It is dream ..but certianly not impossible dream.And Electrical engineer should now this.
