Kiddo and virus, I completly agree with both of you even though you have completly opposite views, but somewhat reflects the common concerns of this and the other thread. Yes it is very hard to organize such kind of conventions, specially with such a limited resources that we have. For that matter my kudos to the organizers. They have given their valuable times out of their busy schedule, however few complains and suggestions are valid here. It is always good to listen constructive criticism. I do agree that the convention was poorly organized and it was little costly too. Somebody has mentioned that if you dont like it, dont go to such conventions, and I think it is a wrong statement. It attracts lots of people and if they dont like something about it, they should be able to voice it out, so that atleast the next organizer will know what not to do. As far as the location in Newark concerns, the organizer did a blunder by choosing such location. I do agree that New York is an expensive place and it is hard to get place like that, but choosing a location in such a bad area, I think the organizer had risked people's life, because if people missed an exit or if they go to nearby restaurant, their safety could be in jeopardy, and that I have witnessed myself. In my opinion I would have paid few more dollars to stay in safer area. I give c+ for the organizer, for poor lmanagement, insufficient information, lack of proper guidance to attendees and costly tickets for the programs. I give B+for the events such as cultural show and the Mukti's concert. Overall I give B for pulling out all those different sports, forums and other events. I understand it is a hard job, and I do appreciate what they have done, but just wished that they would have done better.
