bidhan, exactly dude. I appreciate you saying so, making a valid argument and an exact of what happened in the field. That is exactly what happened and CR should be ashamed of his behaviour. But thats the way Football is played thesedays. Look at the final minutes of France Vs. Brazil. Ronaldo clearly dived and the referee was too far away to see. If Ronaldinho had scored from the resulting free-kick, the outrage in France and the supporters would have been spectacular. I mean common man, Ronaldo, diving, and he wasn't touched. So, why are the Brazilian supporters so outraged about other team diving and getting free-kicks and penalty kicks? Whenever I have seen Rooney play, he has played fairly. He is a young, energetic lad and English supporters should be proud of what he has accomplished and done for the team in his young career and the potential of things he can achieve in England uniform. The free-kick should have been his for he was being tangled by three portuguese and he could have falled down on the ground like any other player would have done and it was a clear cut free-kick. But he tried to take possession of the ball, the players were tackling him mercilessly to gain control of the ball, and for all those time, what in the world was referee looking at being right in the nose of the incident? I was yelling, call free kick for god sake. It is ridiculous refereeing and he was clearly going to give him a yellow. CR is a such a mass of shameful, arrogant kid. He sure will be welcome wisely when he goes to Old Trafford. Anyways, Germany are looking clear favorites to lift the trophy but the suspension of Frings will be a major blow for them. Lets see how Klinsmann copes with that.
