New Yorkers ...................? the most polite people in the world?????????????????????????? Then, I think it is the high time that the meaning of "polite" should be changed. As far as nepalese goes, it's just the language barrier ;) (It's a joke!) Humbleness or politeness is not a culture; it is a character which should be developed. This development process varies from person to person. For some people, this process may never start at all due to various growth inhibiting elements such as ego, narrow-mind etc. And for some people, the process can be really slow and may never reach the full maturity (We can blame this on our materialistic world). Finally, for those people in which this process accelerates in tremendous velocity, maturity is achieved with the death of self-respect.
