Bela Bakhat, Since you are a Master's graduate, it shouldn't be a problem of H1 if you join any companies. The question is what kind of companies will you be joining. I have been in this area for almost 8 months now and to say frankly, in training you will learn nothing. And moreover, if you are leaning towards Business Analyst, they will give you minimal training as there is minimal courses to be taught and the responsibilities for BAs depend upon the nature of the company. Consulting company is just the starting point to be on H1. After completing training, getting job is totally depends on your personal confidence and skills. If you sound confidence enough that you really know what you have written in the resume ( which you should do by yourself), then you should be fine. For me, it took me almost 5 and half months to get my first job including training (10 weeks for training). But, some people got job within 4 months or right after the training. So, it totally depends upon you and there should be a lil' bit of luck too. What I recommend is try researching on some American companies first. But, at the same time, keep the wide option towards indian consulting company. Yes, these consulting companies have their own stupid policies. In my consulting company, I have to be with them for 15 months, but I have seen people leaving within 4, 5 months. Technically, you can leave whenever you want to. In US, there is a law that no employee can be bound with them. And if they threaten to refuse to give your H1, f##k them off, and get the other company. Legally, they can't do anything. But you have to be careful. Hope this helps! IF you have questions, let me know!!
