Folks, I ended up making reservations from http://www.fskmotel.com/ at a very reasonable rate ($300 for 2 nights - 4 guests). If you reserve online online, there is a 10% discount. Not sure if they have any more rooms available for the weekend but check it out at: http://www.fskmotel.com/ It's 1 mile from the beach and the resort looks great!!
