since u seem to be a newbie in programming, i suggest you to go for learning programming basics, algorithm, flowchart, pseudocodes et al. there are thousands of links in the web that you can use. just google. to learn VB, there is a mocrosoft's help called MSDN (which comes in CDs with/out VB installation CD. MSDN is self-explanatory and helps you in many ways to get a grip on VB. plus you can also refer to books. Mastering VB is the best, as for i m concerned. Learn VB in 21 days and stuffs like that (books, online books or web links) are aplenty. Hope that helps. Happy programming Loote
