jUST A FEW words to Vanisha. I'm posting after a long time so I thought 'd post on something good. As far as jobs are concerned, yes, it's hard. I mean I'm still in college but I hear your plight. I know how hard it is to land a job- it is hard for us residents it must be hard as hell for intl students. As far as having a miserable life is concered Hi5 and facebook are just anothjer way for MOST people to shadow their misery- it's their getaway from their sorrow. Most girls- as you probably see- are always seen dancing in clubs hanging around holding a drink in their hands with their boyfriends. They all seem slimmer because I'll gurantee you Aishwarya Rai prolly thinks her neighbour is slimmer so dont worry about the slim part. Besides- as such an outstanding student you must be able to persuade the companies to offer you jos not the other way around. You said you have a boyfriend? Maybe he can help you out someway if he's a resident. Otherwise the both of you are in it together and that should bring you guys together during troubled times- that's what makes love life so much sweeter- having the support of someone all the time. You probably have completed your undergrad right now. If you absolutely don;t get any other jiobs I guess my suggestion woul be to continue on with a masters degree or a Phd. I mean, you should'nt look back should you? And don't worry about all those girls with executive jobs on hi5. After coming to the Us one thing you shouldve realized how much hyped the market is when it comes to designating your position. In Investment banking- the field I'm interested in- an associate becomes VP after a few years if he/she can stick around. On a small firm with low income you can QUICKLY become a VP because there's 15 other people above him/her in management they give those titles simply to keep them htere. Also those who work that hard and have such sexy jobs- dont really hang around in facebook and hi5. So think about it that way- you have someone who loves you in the US that alone should make you feel gifted- let alone your outstanding marks!
