मित्रहरु । एउटा serious सल्लाह चाँहीयो । I completed my Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from one of the eastern uni. I am in job now as an Engineer in Training (EIT) under H1B. The ultimate step I should achieve to remain in this field is to earn P.E. (Professional Liscense). I found P.E. is really very responsible position US. Also Environmental Engineering invloves a lot of dealing with Govt agencies and rules and regs. If anything is worng and design is failed you are liable for big amount of money. I have heard about of some cases in which the PE had to pay a big amount of money. On the contrary to that the Salary is very low. Very experiences get in the range of 80,000-100,000. Beginners like me get in the range of 45,000-80,000. So I am wondering if there is any safe Job or Profession to which I can make a transition. Which field is better nowdays in US for next 15 years or which field of Civil Engineering?? please advice.
