She writes: "Coca-Cola paid between $US40 million ($54 million) and $US60 million for its global World Cup sponsorship deal, and will spend millions more pushing its products during television broadcasts. But during an advertising shoot for its Powerade drink in Nepal in March, Coke paid the stars of its commercial a pittance. "The company hired 10 young Africans who live in Nepal and 10 local players to perform at high altitude - 3700 metres - for the commercial, which will be screened during this month's football fiesta. The African players were paid about twice as much as the Nepalese for the 10-day shoot above Pokhara
