I have been to terai many times and I was referred as a पाहाडी where ever I went. I did feel awkward but other than calling me पाहाडी I did not notice anything that would suggest that i felt descriminated howver I never felt as I belong there. The people who moved from the higher hills to Terai were पाहाडी(s) and remained that way. People like parmendra uses every oppertunity that he exploits for self promotion. I have noticed Parmendras rhetoric for a while in sajha and he uses sensitive racial propaganda for self-promotion and stay I stay away from it. There was a time when he openly asked for donations for "madise" case and he promised "transparency" but I know that he did collect some money but sad to say that I did not see the "transparency" that he promised about the raised funds.
