My answer to your question is simple - most of the journalists know that they have to live under the Maoists gun. The bitter truth is that many(ofcourse not the majority) people are now willing to let Maoists rule for the sake of peace. Dont be surprised if many people start saying - we have seen SPA, we have seen Kings government and now lets see Maoists government. My suspicion is that the Maoists will try to spread as much propaganda as possible, collect as much money as possible and sit down for the talks. During the talks if the SPA disagrees with any of their demands(even if the demand is as stupid as it can be), they will simply walk away. Prachanda did not show up at the KTM showdown - why is that? Watch out for any signs of the main leaders going to the far west or far east - they will fade away before the talks completey breakdown.
