Nepal-India to start dialogue on water resources Nepal and India agreed to resume meetings of the Nepali and Indian water resources officials that remained stalled following the February 1 royal takeover. India has agreed to resolve all the cases related to water resources within six months. The informal meeting of the Nepali and Indian officials held at Kathmandu agreed to discuss all the issues and start construction work from November and to complete it within six months. Talking to Nepalnews on Thursday, spokesman at the Ministry of Water Resources, Upendra Prasad Bhattrai said that resumption of dialogue between the both sides would help to resolve all misunderstanding between the two governments. He further said that the meeting would help to expedite the development work of water resources and also to resolve the issue of inundation. He however said that the meetings and the dates of the meetings will be decided after holding informal meetings on suitable time. nepalnews.com pb June 01 06
