Moriarty's complaint Kathmandu , 26 May: American Ambassador James F. Moriarty recently met PM Girija Prasad Koirala and complained him about the poor political performance of the government, writes Samakaleen weekly. According to sources, Moriarty showed some serious concerns about the unlikely connection between Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and the Maoists. Meanwhile, PM Koirala has warned those parties -- except NC and UML -- to take necessary action against those who tries to breach the recent parliamentary announcement. The following statement of the PM has been criticized by the analyst stating that in a democratic system there must be such condition where the voice of the opposition parties should also be considered or else that system is not suitable enough to be called democratic. The restored parliament has tried to exercise its power beyond its limit by changing those points of the 1990 constitution that were unchangeable, according to Supreme Court Judge, Anupraj Sharma, the recent announcement made by the parliament could be questioned in the court as it is illegitimate.
