Ram Raja Prasad Singh arrives from self-exile Kathmandu, 26 May: Ram Raja Prasad Singh flew into the capital Friday from India where he had been living in self-exile. The republican leader had been supporting Maoists and called for their inclusion in government. Singh has been pushing a republic in Nepal even before Maoists. He was behind bombings at the Rashtriya Panchatayat, Annapurna Hotel, the royal palace and several places in Nepal during the panchayat era killing eight persons. After his party was routed in the 1990 elections, he went into self-exile.
