Govt decision challenged Kathmandu, 31 May: Eleven mayors and deputy mayors elected in the February municipal polls moved the supreme court Monday asking it to invalidate a government decision to annul poll results. One of the first acts of the government installed after the April movement was to overturn the results of the vote in which 22 percent eligible voters cast their ballots despite obstructions from Maoists and seven parties.
