Hindu is the identity of Nepal: Togadia FOC Expressing concern over the ongoing process of change in Nepal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has said that the identity of Nepal has traditionally been as a Hindu nation in the world and no effort should be made to ruin this identity. In a statement issued in New Delhi, Dr Pravin Togadia, VHP general secretary said Nepal for years has been an independent, self-reliant and a sovereign Hindu nation irrespective of what system of governance it adopted. “Today the conspiracy to ruin its identity through guns and bullets is dangerous for Nepal. “Hindutva is the pranshakti of Nepal and if any effort is made to reject it, the country will be almost finished,” the statement said.
