House restoration not constitutional: Deergha Raj Prashain Kathmandu , 28 May: “The restoration of House of Representatives is not a constitutional step, it was a demand of NC which was followed by the other parties and the King fulfilled their demand. The government had to follow the constitution of 1990 until a new constitution is drafted,” says Dirgharaj Prasai in an interview to Sambodhan weekly. “The King alone is not responsible for bringing Nepal at this position. Even some leaders among the seven-party alliance are corrupted. The main point is that in the coming future leaders of the seven-party should not try to ruin the political changes that Nepal is going through or else there will be bloodshed all around the nation.” “The recent proclamation endorsed by the parliament is the Maoists' demand, so they must not waste any time and come for the peace talks but they are delaying it by bringing up various issues about their (people's liberation) army. Peace talks are just an excuse for them and constituent assembly is just a game. The parliament went through various hardships to fulfill their demands but the Maoists seem reluctant and bringing up excuses for some unreasonable reasons.” People’s News/KDB
