Lootekukur, I am not being judgmental about Maoists, but rather I am being compelled to speak it as it is. Compelled by their atrocities, and their inhuman heinous behaviors that dwarfs anything and everything that any clan, coterie or animals managed vis-a-vis Nepal. Given hope through the voice of guns? Reminds me of the slogan "Bombing for peace." Didn't work for Uncle Sam now, did it? Violence is violence no matter how we paraphrase it. But I would definitely like to add "barbaric/inhuman" in front. Anyway possible? Anyway? I wonder how many of the deceased would take solace on that rhetoric, and how many of the loved ones, brothers, fathers, mothers, sisters, wives, and children would be would hail the proclamation. Let's not even forget that majority of those who perished were poor and underprivileged themselves. Is not that ironic? As for me, I do not want anyone's absolute rule. Neither of autocratic Shah clan; neither of Prachanda's Taliban-esque empire. I just hope the proclamation that the expired parliament came up with will soon be made authentic by CA where ballots shall talk, and then we shall see democracy at work via election where by all means Maoists shall have equal shot at leading the nation, strictly riding on the ballots, not on bombs and guns. At the end of the day, I am sure, you, like me, would love to see prosperous and peaceful motherland where equality and rule of law shall take precedent over violence and bigotry.
