Universe.......No Correct Ways

A beauty of philosophy; one can ask the same question that that men asked two thousand years ago. The question is still refreshing as men die and the universe remains mystifying, unscathed, and largely invincible. Why do we exist? Why is the universe infinite? Each day I spend, a fraction of my time thinking about it. I feel I can roughly state, without absolute evidence, that the universe as it is exist is designed such that life can exist on it. Perhaps, a universe is a like a man that wants to exist and be appreciated of its great depth and underlying beauty of its principle. I feel there are some ostensibly logical evidence that nature is designed in such a way that life can exist. While Darwinism is a beautiful idea, I feel it is by no means complete. To give an elementary yet a very good example water attains its maximum density at –4 degree Celsius. This as we all know allows aquatic lives to survive in extremely cold weather. Similarly, there are constants in nature (like the Gravitational constant or the fine structure constants in field theory) if varied even infinitesimally will change the whole dynamics of the universe. Simply put, we will not exist if these constants were slightly different. Can we understand the universe and our existence in its entirety? Possibly, there are our own limitations imposed by nature. Can a subset (and a very small one at that in the form of humans) can understand the complete nature of things. However, one thing I am certain is that there is beauty and great symmetry in the world that we live in.On the other hand, no matter how hard one tries, a dog cannot be taught quantum mechanics. Similarly, perhaps humans at this stage may not comprehend the scrupulous laws and symmetry that governs our universe. I like the optimists who think that people are logical and rational enough to understand the seemingly complex universe and our own existence. The question still stands. Although, no amount answer formed in mere mortal words can even come close to describing the aesthetics or the apparent complexity of nature. Perhaps what we call the universe is the limitation of our own imagination. So as Nietzsche said, you have your way, I have my way, as for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.
